This pattern is well worth the price. Saw this doll on instagram and fell in love. It’s gorgeous with all the details. I rarely crochet, more of a knitter myself, but I could not resist. It’s super well written with lots of images and video instructions for the trickier parts. It felt like there was notes for every question I had (like stuffing, yarn, etc). Easy to follow and very helpful notes on the places where it’s easy to miss a stitch change. This is def the best pattern I have ever used when it comes to directions. The author is also very helpful and kind when I had some questions. Can definitely recommend. I’m really pleased with how my doll came out.

This book was fabulous! Lots of pictures are included with clear instructions. The designer even includes specific instructions on exactly where to place the eyes, ears, hairline, etc. so you don’t have to guess. Also included are very helpful videos. QR codes are available for the videos which is very helpful. I would highly recommend this book and designer to others as she has many other amazing designs and books so don’t hesitate to look her up on social media and look up her other designs. This particular design is great as it allows you to add your own flair to it to truly make it your own. I just added to her existing designs to change the outfit a bit to meet my aesthetic preferences. Many people may be turned away based on the design as a pin-up doll but note that with such spectacular shaping, you can really create anything you want and can adjust the clothing or even sew your own clothes for her. The designer’s other doll pattern (goth pin-up doll) shows exactly how to create your own clothing pieces out of lace/lacey fabric! 10/10 would highly recommend!
